This three-bedroom, two-bathroom modern home is perched high on a bluff, offering stunning views of Puget Sound. The layout supports the owner's vision of a legacy property that accommodates aging in place. A gently terraced design minimizes the need for stairs, making the grade change nearly imperceptible.

The steeply sloping site and extended access driveway presented significant challenges and drove the design process. The shape of the house is crafted to capture panoramic coastal views while thoughtfully separating private areas from social spaces for enhanced comfort. The entry experience features a glass-enclosed design, with a boxy volume on either side: one side dedicated to the living, dining, and kitchen areas, and the other side reserved for the bedroom wing. This house embodies the breathtaking views of the coastal Pacific Northwest.
